Golden Conversations

You're not alone in this

Golden Conversations are informal, supportive gatherings for anyone navigating the challenges of later-life care — whether you're just starting to worry, deep in the middle of it, or looking back and wanting to help others.

What is a Golden Conversation?

A Golden Conversation is a friendly, informal gathering of around 8 to 10 people who understand what it's like to support an ageing parent or loved one.

It's a chance to chat over a cup of coffee, share experiences, ask questions, and hear how others have navigated similar situations. There are no presentations, no pressure, and absolutely no sales pitch. Just genuine conversations in a relaxed, welcoming environment where everyone is listened to and nobody has to face the journey alone.

What people say

I walked in not knowing anyone and left feeling like I'd found my people. Just knowing others are going through the same thing made such a difference.

Margaret, 58

Daughter of a care home resident

Judi creates a space where you can be completely honest. No judgement, no advice you didn't ask for — just real conversation.

Robert, 64

Husband and carer

I came for information and left with a community. I've been to three now and I recommend them to everyone I meet who's in this situation.

Caroline, 52

Daughter managing care from a distance
